I don't know who's noticed this post :

But I think I've decided I'm going to re-open SquishtaRO. What's this means for GreenRO is that since my computer (which is just my home computer in my bedroom, for those of you who don't know) really can't handle 2 servers at once without disabling me from doing anything I need to do on it, I have to close GreenRO. I most likely will close it next week...I might plan for it to be Thursday morning, so then the next week I have finals, and then after they're all done, SquishtaRO might be ready for a re-opening.
I know this will upset some of GreenRO's loyal players, but look at it from my perspective : When I shut down SquishtaRO, I was letting down a lot more people, and by opening up GreenRO when I was capable of hosting a server again, it probably made them lose hope to see their old server again.
With GreenRO, who only has a small fraction of the total SquishtaRO players (active players at the time of it shutting down too), I know I'll be letting people down because they found it worthwhile to play here, but I tried to develop a system to make it up to you guys should you decide to join SquishtaRO. I will look at different things that contribute to your time on the server, such as character levels, rare items in your inventories, etc. and you will recieve a certain amount of "tokens" for your efforts. You can then exchange the tokens for token-only items, which will be good by the way. The only other way to get tokens is to win events. If this sounds confusing...it's not as bad as it sounds. If you don't like this idea and hate me because I want to bring up SquishtaRO again, then I apologize. Like I said, I might be letting some people down, but I let more people down closing SquishtaRO...
To me, SquishtaRO has a lot more significance...it was the original private server me and Krystal made about a year ago, for friends only. Then after a few months, we were forced to take it down (hosted on her PC). I then re-opened it publically on a crappy computer and it turned out to be pretty good, with our most loyal player, Koopa, being an active GM, and still to this day. SquishtaRO went down because that crappy computer wasn't capable of handling the server any longer. It had it's ups and downs, but most importantly, gave a lot of people a fun server to play on. With GreenRO...it just isn't the same. Krystal didn't even play on it, most of SquishtaRO's players don't play on it (some tried, but didn't stay), there were more people registering, actively playing, and making the game a funner online RPG. To me, SquishtaRO just has more significance.
So...GreenRO will probably be closed next week and SquishtaRO will hopefully be opened the week after. I've been working on making a site for it as well, so I'll post that up when it's nearly complete. If there is ever a way for me to host 2 servers, then I can bring GreenRO back...but for now, I think SquishtaRO was the better server.
Any questions, feel free to ask, whether it's about the token system, more reasoning behind this decision, or just general hate/love for me...I could be forgetting some minor details here or there too. I thank everyone for playing GreenRO and I hope you try SquishtaRO and spend your tokens wisely if you get any...I know there are a few players who would get a TON (Hovie and Lentro to name a couple...)
