Server Rules and Punishments for Breaking These Rules[/u]
1.) Be respectful to other players and GMs.
-Not everyone has played "since beta" so it doesn't mean they're less of a person than you.
-Try to be courteous towards others and help out whenever.
-Do not ask GMs to make you a GM or to give you free items/levels/monsters.
Punishment: Warning; Jailtime, depends on seriousness of situation
2.) No harassment, excessive rudeness, or inappropriate language.
-No sexual harassment or "noob" harassment.
-No racist comments.
-No very foul language toward another player as an insult.
Punishment: Warning; Jailtime, time depends on seriousness of situation; Permanent/IP Ban in more extreme cases
3.) No inappropriate names or guild names are allowed.
-This ties with rule 1, don't impersonate other people's names with the intention of impersonating them. Game Masters/GMs will be in the "Game Masters" guild, so anyone impersonating a GM will easily be caught.
-This ties with rule 2, no offensive/racist names are allowed.
-No ASCII in character names (for example, ²†¤ž). Guild names, it's probably okay, but for characters, it's easier for me to type without them if I need to. To make it easier, don't make character names without symbols on a standard computer keyboard.
Punishment: Deletion of character or guild (with or without warning); Permanent/IP Ban in more extreme cases
4.) Item, zeny, or any other kind of exploit or hacking is NOT tolerated.
Punishment: Permanent/IP Ban
5.) No botting.
-Avoid making a ton of accounts. I can understand a few accounts, but one thing bots tend to do is make a lot of accounts and well...the idiots just make it easier for me to IP ban them. Don't worry if you have more than one account though, you won't be instantly banned for nothing.
Punishment: Permanent/IP Ban
6.) Please don't scam other players.
-This includes zeny, items, and in any extreme case, real money.
-Do not vend items as "slotted" when they are not; Or just don't sell items saying they're one thing, but they're something similar but of lesser value.
-Do not blackmail people. It can happen.
Punishment: Jailtime, time depends on seriousness of situation; Permanent/IP ban in extreme cases
7.) Extensive kill-stealing (KSing) is not good for you.
-Sometimes it happens on accident, but if you're doing it over and over, it's a bad thing.
-Many people get angry over KSing mini-bosses and arena MVPs (that were payed for). People are usually good about this, but still, just don't do it.
Punishment: Warning; Jailtime, time depends on the seriousness of the situation
8.) Do not spam skills or sentences.
-Especially to wizards, bards/dancers, and alchemists (and their respective transcendent classes), some people get angry when you repeatedly spam skills in the main towns or at popular spawn points.
-Spamming sentences gets annoying, so just don't do it.
Punishment: Warning; Jailtime, time depends on seriousness of the situation
9.) Do not advertise other servers on this server.
-There are other places for that and here is not one of them. By all means, praise this one, but just keep others out.
Punishment: Permanent/IP Ban
10.) Do not request deals with other players during battle or WOE.
-As simple as that, don't do it because it creates a disadvantage and is very unfair. To avoid this, you can type /notrade, but it's easy to be forgetful.
-I'll also include in this rule people requesting deals over and over when they're told to stop and it just gets annoying. This is a big one for GMs.
Punishment: Jailtime, time depends on how crucial the situation is
11.) To keep your account active, please log in once at least every 60 days.
-I will start deleting inactive accounts every 60 days roughly (or 2 months) for accounts deemed inactive, due to memory issues. I will use good judgement to decide if you are active or not, but logging in once every 30-60 days is your best bet.
-Some special cases are fine, but you have to let us know.
Punishment: Character and account deletion.
